Following on from last weekends cancelled run there is a run planned for this weekend,
26th October unfortunately Pat is unable to take this run due to work commitments so,
a different route has been organised.
With the worst of the weather heading to the north of the country I am proposing to take
a run down to Morpeth in the south where the weather looks as if it will be dry and bright.
So starting off from the Dreghorn Services on the Edinburgh By-pass at 10am and heading
down the A 697 through the Borders stopping at Powburn for coffee before continuing on
to Morpeth for lunch and a look around this quaint little town.
Returning to Berwick via the A1 for coffee and thereafter on to Edinburgh. I have tried to
stick to the main A roads where the surface tends to be clear in order to avoid any safety
issues, the route is 201miles in length so not to taxing and is easy riding.
I would appreciate a reply by return from my e-mail for those members interested
in going on this run.
