Welcome to the Scottish Pan Riders Website!

Hello Everyone!

Wow it has been 3 Years! Scottish Pan Riders was formed 3 years ago on the 6th of March 2014. This is a club run by the members for the benefits of the members. This club  consists of riders of Honda Pan-European Motorcycles  however in addition to this, riders of other makes of large touring bikes as well as pillion riders are welcome to become members.

The SPR is not just about Club Runs. There are adhoc runs for a day out and trips organised by members that  are here in the UK as well as abroad.

There are many events, runs and social activities to take part in. So, look over the website and our Facebook page, perhaps come to a meeting or an organized run and then decide if you would like to become a member.

The weather was great for the Northern Ireland tour! There were 8 bikes in total and blue skies every single day! A special treat was being able to see the first night race at the NW 200 event. The weather that night couldn’t have been any better. Not only the views were spectacular, so was everyone on the journey.

The next Club meeting will be held Thursday 29th June 2017 at the Deer Park Country Club in Livingston. Starting time of 8:00 pm and those fancying a meal can attend earlier.

Latest news from our Facebook group

Right boys and girls, I am selling my 1300 Pan. Thought I would offer it to congregation before it goes on Flea-bay/Gumtree at the weekend.
Its an ex DVLA examiners bike, which was subsequently owned by a motorcycle riding instructor, so most of it miles have been following learners.
It is a late 2003 registered bike with 72469 miles. The good stuff first: MOT was carried out at the end of July with no advisories, some extras fitted, bar risers, new colour coded top box, mirror deflectors, radiator guard, front fender extender, LED front side lights, Star-com digital intercom system with a Bluetooth module, new Michelin PR 4 rear tyre, blanking plates for the side panels (just like the later ones) which are also new, heated grips which are new Honda ones and larger touring screen which work as it should.
It has had a new Honda radiator and rear shock absorber fitted last year and the front forks resealed and new bushes fitted prior to the MOT. Also done last year a respray of the body work, this is not a concourse finish but does make it look very fresh.
Not so good bits: It has had some lock failures in the past so there are three different keys for all the locks, however the ignition one fits the fuel filler, the right-hand pannier and the both pannier lock levers, there is a slight blow from the exhaust collector (not mentioned in the MOT), there are a couple of the LEDs don`t work on the heated grip control and there is only a partial service history.
The bike runs great and still returns 11 miles per litre, starts on the button. If you require any further information please send a PM. Delivery can be arranged nationwide for about £150.
I will be advertising for £2750, but will take £2600 from anyone on here.
